Welcome to Brentwood School’s Media Center.

We strive to maintain a positive relationship with the media and the community in order to build a greater understanding of our mission. To that end, Brentwood School administrators and faculty members are regularly available for interviews. All media inquiries and requests for press kits, interviews, and tours should be directed to the Director of Communications, Shirley Blake, at 310.889.2708 or sblake@bwscampus.com.

Please note: To protect the privacy and security of our community, members of the media must make arrangements with the Communications Department before entering our campuses. Brentwood School is not available for commercial shoots of any kind.

  • Letter of the Week: Brentwood School Receives A Better Chance Access Award

    PhotoOn Thursday, May 2, 2013, A Better Chance (ABC) honored Brentwood School at their 50th Anniversary celebration held at the Davidson Center at University of Southern California. One of five schools acknowledged, Brentwood received the Access Award “for opening doors to greater educational opportunities and demonstrating continued commitment to A Better Chance’s mission by graduating more than 50 scholars.”

    Bryan Hudson, a Brentwood School graduate from the Class of 2009, presented the Access Award to Mary Beth Barry and Tamyra Fuller, both of whom admitted him to Brentwood’s 6th Grade in 2002. Hudson graduates from USC this spring with a bachelor’s degree in History and will join Teach for America as a 5th Grade math teacher at a public school in Nashville this fall...

    Feature: Turning down spotlight to rebuild a program, by Luc Cohen: Edwards was a top recruit nationwide going into her senior year at the Brentwood School in Los Angeles, Calif., where she was born and raised.
