Monica Dalmia received her B.A. in Elementary Education and completed a Fifth-year Teacher Internship Program from Michigan State University. Most recently, Monica worked as the First Grade Teacher at Glassmanor Elementary School in Oxon Hill, Maryland. She joins Brentwood School as the 2nd Grade Teaching Associate.
Sonia Arora received her B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College and just completed her M.A. in English Literature at Northwestern University. Most recently, Sonia worked as the Assistant Director of Admissions and Director of High School Programs at the University of Chicago. Prior, she was a high school teacher and college counselor at Poly Prep in New York and at Andover’s Summer Session. She joins Brentwood School as our new Associate Director of College Counseling.
Ka’Shaunda Ballomey received her A.A. in Child Development at the Los Angeles trade Technical Community College and is working on completing her undergraduate degree in Health and Human Services at Cal State L.A. Most recently, Ka’Shaunda worked as a Substitute Teacher at Child Care Careers. She joins Brentwood School as a Child Care Teacher.
Cody Barrett received his B.A. in Liberal Arts from Cal State Fullerton. Most recently, Cody worked as the 3rd Grade Volunteer at Nelson Elementary School in Tustin and as Head Coach of the Dolphin Aquatics Swim team in Rancho Santa Margarita . He joins Brentwood School as the 5th Grade Teaching Associate.
Jonah Blumstein received his B.A. in Film and Drama with a Minor in Art History from Dartmouth College. Most recently, Jonah performed and toured nationally with an americana music group while also writing and recording 3 albums of original material. He joins Brentwood School as the Middle School Music Teacher.
Amy Fairchild received her B.A. in Communications from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Most recently, Amy worked as the Assistant to the Director of Institutional Advancement at Crossroads School. She joins Brentwood School as the Liaison to the Office of Advancement.
Laura Feucht received her B.A. in Art History and B.S. in Biological Sciences from UC Irvine and is working on completing an M.S. in Biology from Cal State Northridge. Most recently, Laura worked as a Biology Teacher and Co-dean of STEM at St. Bernard High School in Playa del Rey. She joins Brentwood School as an Upper School Science Teacher.
Sarah Hamilton received her B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies: Human & Social Influence in Art from the University of Texas at Arlington. Most recently, Sarah worked as Event Operations, Office Management and Administrative Assistant to the owner of Calamigos Equestrian in Burbank. She joins Brentwood School as the Temporary Administrative Admissions Assistant to the Lower School Admissions Office.
Jason Hinojosa received a double B.A. in Philosophy and History from St. John’s College in Santa Fe, NM/Annapolis, MD. He taught at private schools in Florida and Hong Kong, and most recently, Jason worked as the manager of a group home for developmentally disabled adults in Austin, TX. He joins Brentwood as the Middle School Humanities Teacher.
Pamela Horrocks received her B.S. in Vocational, Business, and Office Education from The University of Rio Grande in Ohio. Most recently, Pamela worked as the Director of Educational Technology at The Archer School for Girls. She joins Brentwood School as the Lower School Educational Technology Coordinator.
Kathryn Tomlinson received her B.A. in Political Science from Brown University and went on to complete her MAT at UC Irvine. Most recently, Kathryn worked as a Kindergarten Teacher at Leadership Prep Ocean Hill Charter School in Brooklyn, NY. She joins Brentwood School as the Teaching Associate for the 2nd Grade.
Azin Mehdizadeh received her B.A. in Sociology from UCLA and went on to complete an M.A. in Education at Pepperdine University. Most recently, Azin worked as the 4th Grade Associate Teacher at Maimonides Academy. She joins Brentwood School as the Kindergarten Teaching Associate.
Alice Min received her B.A. in Spanish from UC Davis. Most recently, Alice worked as the Middle School Spanish Teacher at Chatsworth Hills Academy. She joins Brentwood School as the Middle School Spanish Teacher.
Grace Chu received her B.A. in Sociology from UC Berkeley and went on to complete an M.A. in Education: Multiple Subject Teaching from USC. Most recently, Grace worked as the Kindergarten Teacher at Jubilee Christian School in West Covina. She joins Brentwood School as the 1st Grade Teaching Associate.
Hayley Kritzer received her B.A. in Sociology from UC Santa Barbara and went on to complete an M.S. in Museum Education at Bank Street College of Education in New York. She taught first grade at The Dalton School and Most recently, Hayley worked as the 1st Grade Head Teacher at Columbia Grammar Preparatory School in New York. She joins Brentwood School as the 1st Grade Teaching Associate.
Jessica James received her B.A. in English from UC Irvine and went on to complete a Masters in Library and Information Science from UCLA . Most recently, Jessica worked as the Library Intern at Windward School. She joins Brentwood School as the Middle School Librarian.
Radhika Khandelwal received her B.A. in Psychology from Scripps College and went on to complete an M.Ed in Human Development and Psychology at Harvard Graduate School of Education. Most recently, Radhika worked as the 6th Grade Math and Science Teacher and Math/Science Department Chair at Synergy Kinetic Academy. She joins Brentwood School as the Middle School Math and Science Teacher.
Rebecca Klein received her B.A. in Theatre Arts from Pepperdine University. Most recently, Rebecca worked as the key holder and Sales Professional for Max Studio. She joins Brentwood School as the Office Assistant to the Business Office and Upper School Performing Arts.
Gabrielle McHale received her B.A. in History of Art from the University of Michigan and went on to complete an M.A. in Educational Leadership in Independent Schools at Teachers College, Columbia University. Most recently, Gabrielle worked as the Director of Admissions at Milken Community High School. She joins Brentwood School as the Director of Admissions for the East Campus.
John McInerney received his B.A. in Philosophy from Providence College and went on to complete an M.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies at SUNY Buffalo. Most recently, John worked as the Grade 5 Homeroom Teacher and Upper Elementary Curriculum Coordinator at the Keerapat International School in Bangkok, Thailand. He joins Brentwood School as the 3rd Grade Lead Teacher.
Josh Melnick received his B.A. in Communications from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Most recently, Josh worked as a Teaching Assistant at Summit View West in Culver City. He joins Brentwood School as the Administrative Assistant to the Office of Advancement.
Trish Paulson received her B.A. in General Studies English/Journalism from Wichita State University and went on to complete an M.S. in Instructional Technology at University of Houston and an MFA in Creative Writing from Antioch University. Most recently, Trish worked as the Director of Technology at The Pegasus School in Huntington Beach. She joins Brentwood School as the Director of Systems Technology.
Jason Peck received his B.F.A. in Theatre (Acting) from USC and went on to complete an M.F.A. in Acting at Florida State University/Asolo Acting Conservatory. Most recently, Jason worked as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Barton College in North Carolina. He joins Brentwood School as the Upper School Theater Director.
Mark Segal received his B.A. in Political Science and MAT from the University of St. Thomas. Most recently, Mark worked as the Head of Intermediate and Middle Schools at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Potomac, MD. He joins Brentwood School as the Middle School Director.
