K-12 Philosophy

Brentwood School is a vibrant and diverse learning community.  Our rigorous and robust programs are designed to encourage enthusiasm and a love for learning.  Students are challenged to take risks and develop new-found passions as they work their way through a K-12 program that encompasses depth and breadth.  Basics are emphasized through a participatory learning process.  Even our youngest students engage in real-life situations set in a culture of exploration and collaboration.  Creative thinking is encouraged and confidence soars as students learn to believe in themselves.  The atmosphere throughout the school is nurturing, and parents are encouraged to support their children throughout their educational journey.  Focus is given to educating the whole child and the size of the student body enables us to create a climate where every student feels cared for and acknowledged.
