Community Service Camp (40 hours)
Applications for the 2008 Community Service Camp are closed. We had tremendous demand during the first week and now have all 30 spaces filled and an extensive waiting list. The size of the camp is limited by the fact that the service agencies can only accommodate small groups of students. For more information, please contact Teri Redman at tredman@bwscampus.comm.
This camp is designed to allow students the opportunity to accrue hours toward benefacta status. This camp is open to Brentwood School students in grades 9–12, but ninth graders are given priority. The camp will take place each day from 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
This year we will focus on our Foster Care Camp, where children who are currently in foster care work with Brentwood School students during a week of adventure. Some of the destinations will include the movies, Chuck E. Cheese, a local theme park, and the California Science Center. Tuition includes transportation, meals, and admittance to the theme park. There are only 30 available spots and students must attend all sessions.
Offered: June 16–20, 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Tuition: $500
