Summer Enrichment

This program is designed to meet the diverse needs of rising 7th and 8th grade students who would benefit from academic remediation and enrichment, and offers intensive exposure in the areas of math, English, and study skills. The Brentwood Summer Enrichment Program is designed to cultivate curious, confident, and self-motivated learners. The English class is intended for students who have a desire to review their English fundamentals and will focus on improving grammar, vocabulary, literary comprehension and analysis skills, and writing skills. The math class will focus on basic math review and concentrate on strengthening basic mathematical concepts, improving problem solving skills and analytical knowledge through practice, projects and mathematical puzzles and inquiries. The study skills portion of the course designed to help students become better learners and will focus on note-taking, outlining, studying and test-taking.
