Registration Information

Registration:

Classes have a limited enrollment. Registration for all courses is on a firstcome, first-served basis. Students cannot be officially enrolled until tuition fees are paid in full and registration forms are received. Please understand that we cannot reserve a spot in a course unless we have received a completed registration form and payment. We will do our best to accommodate course requests, but we reserve the right to make switches based on class size. We will send written confirmation of our having received your registration and tuition payments. No cash or credit card payments. Only checks, cashier’s checks, or money orders will be accepted. Also, we will send information packets during the week prior to the opening of Summer at Brentwood. Deadline for registration is June 2, 2008. A late registration fee of $25 is charged for enrollment after June 2. Non-Brentwood School students seeking academic credit for summer study should make arrangements in advance with their own schools.

Summer Session (Grades 9-12) Note: Since Brentwood School has rigorous academic standards, please note that students missing three or more days of class or who are tardy to six or more classes are liable to lose academic credit for the Upper Division Summer Session and are subject to dismissal. In such cases, tuition is non-refundable. Please contact the Upper Division Summer Session Director for further information.

Refund Policy:

Tuition fees are only fully refundable if 1) application for enrollment is not accepted by the Directors of Summer at Brentwood, 2) a course is canceled, or 3) student withdraws prior to June 2, 2008. The school will issue a partial refund of 50% of tuition if a student withdraws on or prior to June 16, 2008. No refunds whatsoever are made for withdrawals after June 16, 2008. Since all courses are subject to adequate enrollment, a full (100%) refund of both tuition and processing fee will be made when a class is canceled. Please note: Rather than issuing a refund check, refunds for Brentwood School students will be applied to the student’s tuition account.

Both the Registration and Emergency/Medical Forms must be completed for each student attending Summer at Brentwood before registration is processed. If the registration material is not fully completed, the material will be returned for completion. This will most likely delay enrollment in the course and could result in the student being wait-listed.
