Upper Division Service Learning
The Service Learning Program in the Upper Division is designed to educate students about how our participation in and service to our community is integrally linked to their work in the classroom. The goal is to blur the boundaries between the classroom and the community and to instill in our students a sense that their actions can positively affect the world around them. Our program incorporates a meaningful service learning project at each grade level to ensure that all students participate each year in the Upper Division.

BENEFACTA: For students who wish to continue their service beyond the grade-level project, we offer our Honors Service Learning program, Benefacta. Benefacta, which means “good deed” in Latin, is a component of Brentwood School’s new Community Service Program that recognizes, encourages, and rewards extraordinary service that is performed for both the outside community and Brentwood School. Benefacta has been updated to give more students the opportunity to participate at multiple levels. Please review the Benefacta Brochure.
