Classroom Celebrations

The academic program of the Lower Division is designed to balance vigorous expectations with the needs of children to celebrate the wonders of youth. In addition to the “traditional” school festivities such as Halloween, winter holidays, and Valentine’s Day, each grade plans a variety of culminating events to celebrate the end of a thematic unit. Some examples of such events include: the Desert Museum, Space Bash, Literary Tea, Classics Day, International Feast, and Wax Museum. Creativity and excitement abound as faculty and students celebrate the many accomplishments and newfound knowledge from a unit of study.
