Student Support

Brentwood School is committed to promoting the personal and intellectual growth of all of our students. In keeping with that goal, we devote care and attention to every student’s academic, physical, emotional, and social development. The team of people noted below works with the faculty, parents, and administration to meet the needs of our students.

Learning Specialist/Psychologist

Crystal Free, learning specialist and psychologist, serves as a resource to teachers and a liaison to a network of professionals outside of the school, including educational therapists, speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists.

Health

Jan Perlo provides day-to-day health services to the Lower Division student body. Nurse Perlo is responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation of the Lower Division school health, safety, and disaster preparedness programs.

Counseling Services

Laura Taylor Stahoski, Lower Division Counselor, coordinates the Community of Caring program by helping to promote and incorporate the five core values of caring, respect, trust, responsibility, and honesty into the daily life of the Lower Division community.

Ms. Stahoski serves as a resource to students, parents, and faculty, helping work through specific student conflicts or developmental concerns.
