Service Learning
Success isn’t merely a personal thing that you keep all to yourself. To be successful, you have to interact with your community, environment, and be aware of the world around you. The Middle Division students do just that. Not only are they aware that life is going on around them, they feel a call to action. It is fascinating to see these students identify issues outside of their comfort zone, and go to great lengths to make a change.
Through curriculum integration, students make more connections and understand their contributions on a much deeper level. In addition to all the grade trips, individual teachers develop service opportunities to enhance the experience of the students.
