Student Support

I love to see the kids outside the classroom, doing something they love to do. But I also think about their struggles: games lost, parts in plays not made, questions missed; and I think about ways they might learn from failure and ultimately grow from the experience.”

In a challenging academic environment, a web of support must be in place for students, and they must have easy access to it.

Year in and year out, students speak in glowing terms about their Brentwood School experiences. One aspect they often mention is the warm and caring atmosphere, which is such an integral part of the school. This nurturing learning environment is enhanced by several support systems that help students feel they are known and valued as individuals. In addition, students have many avenues open to them for support with personal and school problems, when they need some good advice, or when they simply need a shoulder to lean on.

Advisory, Academic Counseling, and College Counseling are just a few examples of the services offered at Brentwood School that promote and encourage personal and intellectual growth. Through these and other programs, we strive to achieve our goal of devoting care and attention to every student.
