Academic Counseling

Scheduling for the next academic year occurs early in the spring and involves students, advisors/advocates, college counselors, academic advisors, department chairpersons, parents, and the Middle and Upper Division Directors. Brentwood School encourages students to discuss their interests and tentative selections at this time and read The Curriculum Guide closely for answers to many of their questions. Each department selects those students who may enroll in Honors or AP courses. Every student meets with an academic advisor to ensure all graduation requirements will be met and that the students will be able to take full advantage of formal college counseling beginning in the sophomore year.
