After School Programs
Brentwood’s West Campus may be unique on the Westside in that we offer before and after school care, free of charge. From 7:30 to 8:10 a.m. each morning there is supervised play available for all Lower School students. On Monday through Thursday our afternoon supervision is from 3:10 to 6:00 p.m. and on Fridays from 2:10 to 6:00 p.m. We also provide free extra-curricular options in athletics and performing arts at different grade levels. The result is that Brentwood School is the preferred after-school destination for a large number of students, making it a wonderful central location for friends to connect if they live far apart from each other.
There is an after-school musical theater program open to students in Grades 4-5. Students with a passion for music and performance may enroll in the program, which provides added opportunities to develop their interests and talents.
Various activities meet regularly after school. These activities are sponsored by full-time faculty or specialty instructors hired by the school. Two separate sessions are held throughout the year. There is a fee for the activities sponsored by specialty instructors. Most of the activities meet after-school from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m., but some activities may meet before school. Information about specific programs is provided at the beginning of each term.
