Since 1972, a tradition of family engagement in the life of the school through generosity of time, talent, and resources has helped to create the Brentwood we know and love today. Our vibrant community is enhanced by the active involvement of our families. By working together now, we are assured that this and future generations of students will enjoy the same opportunities. We invite you to explore the various ways to participate and deepen your relationship with the school community.
As an independent, 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization, we depend on the partnership of everyone in our community to help provide the vital components that allow us to effectively deliver our mission to our students—excellent academic, athletic, and artistic programs, dedicated and intellectually curious teachers, appropriate facilities, and a diverse and interesting peer group.
Each and every year, we ask enrolled families to help us shape a future with meaning at Brentwood School by supporting the following:
The Brentwood Fund
Annual giving to the Brentwood Fund is our number one fundraising priority. Your gift each year directly helps sustain the school community that you’ve joined. The Brentwood Fund is such an important part of the financial landscape of our school that we depend on, and budget for, your donations to provide 9% of our operating revenue.
Parents Association Events and Volunteer Opportunities
The Parents Association offers activities and volunteer opportunities that enhance our sense of community at Brentwood School.
The Party Book kicks off in the fall and is a great opportunity to have fun, meet new people, and get involved in our school community. Families can help by hosting or co-hosting a party or by purchasing admission to parties.
The annual Benefit, a fabulous dinner and auction, takes place each spring. You can participate by
making a tax-deductible gift to underwrite some portion of the event,
purchasing tickets to attend, or by
donating or purchasing auction items.
All funds raised through these activities become part of the Parents Association’s year-end gift to the school.
