Pursuing your college dreams is a remarkable adventure. The academic and extracurricular possibilities are truly limitless…there really is no other time quite like this in one’s life.

But with record numbers of students pursuing post-secondary education nationally, the college search and application processes have evolved into a rather complex process. In keeping with Brentwood’s tradition of excellence and community, we provide a comprehensive, individually-tailored college counseling program that guides students and their families through each step.  Of course, finding the appropriate college “match” for each student is paramount; however, we hope to build skills that will serve our students beyond their college years.

We find ourselves in a unique position as college advisors; we act as tour guides, encyclopedias (you remember those...), coaches, cheerleaders, and Ouija Boards. Parents play an instrumental role in our process and we solicit their input and feedback often, but we hope that students will take ownership of their college search. This can be a wonderful opportunity for students to act independently so that the outcome will truly mirror their needs and accomplishments.

We love our work and believe in the mission of this school.  We are in an extraordinary position to help students find the best match for their interests and personality.  Attending college is one of life’s greatest privileges and we encourage our students to keep an open mind as they explore their college options. Our goal is to create a culture that focuses not on a school’s ranking, but rather upon how each institution meets the individual needs of our graduates.
