It was wonderful to see so many parents at yesterday's Upper School Pancake Breakfast. As I watched everyone working together to feed a hungry hoard of teenagers, I thought about how lucky our school is to have so many families willing to lend a helping hand. Seriously, after two years as Parents Association chair, I have seen first-hand how Brentwood School parents and guardians step in whenever and wherever needed – campus tours, Party Book, affinity group activities, Halloween, Homecoming, PA Benefit, Eaglewear, athletic teams, VA, field trips, and so much more. I hope that you enjoy every moment spent in any volunteer capacity.
Please know that everyone at Brentwood (even our kids, though they might not admit it!) understands that time is a precious commodity and appreciates your participation. In fact, the Parents Association is already planning for next year and would love to count on you. In the meantime, have a wonderful summer and spend at least a little time practicing your flipping technique as pancake and BBQ season will be back next fall before you know it!
With much love and gratitude,
