Our Alumni Association continues to grow each year, and we are excited to welcome Flor as a new member of the Alumni Engagement team!
Originally from the Bronx in New York City, Flor attended Westtown School, a private boarding school in Pennsylvania. Flor went on to major in Middle Eastern Studies at Dartmouth College.
With a natural penchant for being in educational settings, Flor returned to her high school alma mater Westtown School and joined the Admissions team, where she worked for three years. Upon marrying her college sweetheart, Flor and her husband moved to Los Angeles as her husband started his own company in the aerospace industry. After pursuing a career in business management with Blue Bottle Coffee Company, Flor is thoroughly thrilled to be back in a private school setting here at Brentwood School!
In her spare time, Flor enjoys traveling and getting to know people from different cultures. Speaking English, Spanish, French, basic Portuguese, and Moroccan Arabic have facilitated these connections for Flor, who is also hoping to pick up Urdu from her in-laws in the near future.
As the new Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement, Flor will help facilitate alumni events, communications, and student/alumni programming. She is also leading an “Alumni Spotlight” series to be featured on our alum social media channels and web site, and will interview several alums in the coming months to highlight the incredible ways our alumni are making a difference.
Welcome to Brentwood School, Flor!
