Volunteer at the Stand Down!
Tony Reyes

For the second year in a row, Brentwood School will support the efforts of the WLA VA Stand Down event on Friday, October 27. The Stand Down is an all-day event providing supplies and services to homeless Veterans, such as food, shelter, clothing, health screenings and VA Social Security benefits counseling. Veterans can also receive referrals to other assistance such as health care, housing solutions, employment, substance abuse treatment and mental health counseling. They are collaborative events, coordinated between local VA Medical Centers, government agencies, community-based homeless service providers, and other community partners. Village for Vets and Brentwood School are partnering to coordinate volunteers for this event. We will sign up approximately 300 volunteers to make the day a success.

Please Sign Up HERE today and watch last year's video to get a sense of this event that helps so many Veterans!
