After School Programs

Extended Care

Brentwood’s West Campus may be unique among Westside schools in that we offer before and after school care free of charge. From 7:30 to 8:10 a.m. each morning there is supervised play available for all Lower School students. On Monday through Thursday afternoon supervision is available from 3:10 to 6:00 p.m. and on Fridays from 2:10 to 6:00 p.m. We also provide free extra-curricular options in athletics and performing arts at different grade levels. The result is that Brentwood School is the preferred after-school destination for a large number of students, making it a wonderful central location for friends to connect if they live far apart from each other.

Musical Theater

Our after-school musical theater program is open to students in Grades 4-5. Students with a passion for music and performance may enroll in the program, which provides added opportunities to develop their interests and talents.

After-School Activities

Various activities meet regularly after school. These activities are sponsored by full-time faculty or specialty instructors hired by the school. Two separate sessions are held throughout the year. There is a fee for the activities sponsored by specialty instructors. Most of the activities meet after-school from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m., but some activities may meet before school. Information about specific programs is provided at the beginning of each term.
