Dr. Tracy Dennis-Tiwary is an anxiety researcher, author of Future Tense: Why Anxiety is good for you (even though it feels bad), founder of Wise Therapeutics, psychology and neuroscience professor.  She will be interviewed by Late Night TV Host, Writer, Producer, Comedian and accomplished Podcast Creator, Conan O’Brien, who will explore Dr. Dennis-Tiwary’s research findings that the pervasive negativity surrounding anxiety is harming us. Mr. O’Brien and Dr. Dennis-Tiwary will discuss how everyday humans can use anxiety as an advantageous emotion to protect us and strengthen our creative and productive powers.  Although it’s related to stress and fear, maybe anxiety sometimes is not all bad. . . and can even inextricably be linked to hope.  Join us as we challenge old beliefs and develop a new framework.

Join Dr. Belle Liang professor of Counseling Psychology in the Lynch School of Education and Human Development at Boston College and Timothy Klein, award-winning urban educator, clinical therapist and school counselor as they discuss the findings from their research driven book How to Navigate Life.  Even the gentlest parents and teachers tend to play into pervasive societal pressure for students to PERFORM.
