Upper School (9-12)
During the course of a day in the Upper School, our students not only engage in vigorous academics but they also reach beyond themselves to explore new interests, sharpen established skills, and achieve their unique goals. No two days are ever the same in the Upper School. We engage our students in relevant conversations and investigation, preparing them for the world they will inherit. While constantly innovating our teaching methods, we care for our students and challenge them to validate and understand others' perspectives and to grow in understanding and empathy. Our students are encouraged to critically think, imagine outside of the box, and to create an academic and social path uniquely their own. It's not surprising, then, that so many of our programs are student-initiated and student-run. Brentwood students pursue their curiosities at an impressive level of depth and our faculty is committed to supporting them in those journeys.
