East Campus - Food Injustice Challenge

 

Through the monthly BCIL Speaker Series, students learn from professionals in a variety of industries and pose monthly challenges to our Middle and Upper School students. Some of the topics have included innovation through green tech, building inclusive cities of the future, and addressing issues of food injustice in America.

The February BCIL Challenge of the Month presented at the BCIL Speaker Series by Ron and Azzedine Finley (‘05) revolves around sourcing solutions for food injustice. Their challenge to our community asks, “How would you mobilize local resources and networks to bring awareness to and address issues of food injustice in America?” Please read this blog post by Ron Finley to understand the context for this month’s challenge and review the Ron Finley Project website.
