• Design and Fabrication (Mr. Wan)
• Entrepreneurship (Mr. Chien)
• Social Entrepreneurship or Nonprofits (Ms. Fukuji)
• Arts & Humanities (Ms. Fukuji or Ms. Champagne)

• Pick a pathway
• Complete the application for your pathway
• Schedule a meeting with the BCIL team member associated with each pathway (see above), and you or the BCIL team will find a mentor/advisor for your project.
• Meet to finalize the project plan and assessment goals with your advisor.
• Get approval signatures from your mentor/advisor, parents, college counselor, & BCIL Director.
• Submit the completed and signed application to BCIL Director via email or a physical copy.

Students are expected to take the initiative to move projects forward, reach out to advisors/mentors, initiate weekly check-ins, etc. Weekly meetings with your advisor during free tracks, contact time, lunch, or before/after school. Students will submit weekly deliverables before the start of their next meeting & and everything will be kept on a shared Google Drive. Document the project's process and learning outcomes. Display research/project at the BCIL Symposium.

Access to Brentwood's vast alumni network to help move a project forward. Invitations to Lunch & Learn and Speaker Series. If there's a shared interest in a particular field of study, we will coordinate research field trips. Guidance for participating in competitions, conferences, and other workshops.
