Are you looking for some good books to read this summer and maybe stretch your reading comfort zone? Are you interested in seeing what others in the Brentwood Community are reading? If you answered yes, then you are in luck! Your Brentwood School librarians are excited to invite you to participate in our summer reading challenge. The 3rd Annual Eagles Read 2018 Summer Reading Challenge is a fun way for the entire Brentwood School Community to connect over the summer and share a love of books. It is open to all members of the community, at any reading level.

Last summer we more than doubled our participation from the first year! We had 48 participants from all three divisions. Students, parents, grandparents, alumni and faculty read a combined total of over 400 books for the twelve challenges. We are hoping to double the number of participants again this year, and we want you to join us!

There are 12 different book categories, and each one has its own Padlet. You can see the categories on the Eagles Read website. To participate, choose a book or books that fit one of the challenges. When you finish reading it, click on the link to the Padlet, and post your name and the title of the book. If you would like, you can also give it a rating (1-5 stars) and add a picture of the cover.

To see the challenges and more information, including Frequently Asked Questions, visit the website today!

Please fill out this short form to sign up!

Feel free to contact any of your librarians if you have questions. We hope that you will join us in this fun reading adventure!
